With this project the architect wanted to give his distinctive interpretation of a row-house. The front side of the house- and also the rest- makes a dissonant statement in this small belgian village.
This small volume had to create a home for the owners, as they wanted to return to their roots. She paints, he wanted some space for himself.
Both got their own space with a balconny, from where they can oversee the village.
In the evening, the lighthening of the house makes that the roles are inversed. Then the villagers are the spectators and see the house in full glory.
The interior of the house has been kept very sober. White has the main hand, with some specific furniture placed in it.
